Tae Kwon Do

Students will learn the Chung Do Kwan style of Tae Kwon Do developing power, speed, focus, balance, and control through basics, forms, non-contact sparring, and other drills. Tae Kwon Do is a great overall workout developing strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular conditioning. The Chief Instructor is a 5th degree Black Belt in the World Tae Kwon Do Association. The class is open to anyone ages 8 and up. Optional $25 uniform fee and test fees extra.

Intro to Cai Chi & Qi Gong

The low stress mindful movements of Tai Chi and Qigong increase balance, flexibility, body awareness, health, and strength. In this slower moving class students will build a good foundation and understanding of the Yang short forms choreographed body postures. This class is well suited for beginning students and for fine tuning the more advanced student. The instructor is a student of grand master Sam Tam. This class is designed for Adults.

Tai Chi & Qi Gong

Tai Chi and Qi Gong forms are choreographed movements set by the ancient Chinese to promote health, well-being, and longevity and have been proven to lower blood pressure, relieve stress, increase flexibility, stamina, balance, and awareness. Students will work with the 37 Posture Yang short form and certain Qi Gong sets while also learning how to incorporate breath, intent, and body awareness. This class is designed for Adults.

Zumba

Dance to great music, with great people, and burn a ton of calories without even realizing it. Who is Zumba@Fitness for everybody and everyone! Each Zumba class is designed to bring people together to sweat it on. We take the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you'll see why Zumba@ fitness classes are often called "exercise in disguise." What are the benefits? It is a total workout, combining all elements of fitnesscardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome, each time you leave class.Always bring water and a towel. Drop-ins welcome. This class is designed for Adults.

Zumba Toning

Combines muscle toning with original Latin based rhythms of Zumba. This is a safe and effective redefining total body workout that combines light weights with fun Zumba moves and music. Please bring your light weights to class. 1-2 pounds. This class is designed for Adults.

Sports

Pickleball: Adult Drop-in

Pickleball is a game that is played an a badminton sized court with special paddles, and using a plastic ball that's slightly smaller than a wiffle ball. The lower net and lightweight ball make the game accessible for beginner through advanced players.

Volleyball: Drop-In

This adult drop in coed volleyball program meets once a week for all levels of play. Pick-up games will be played on two courts. Open to ages 15 years old to Adult.

Basketball: Women's

This time set aside for women’s basketball will start out as a drop-in program and if there is enough interest a league will be formed. 8 Week Session for 15 years and older.

FEE: $1/person/night (League Fees TBD)

Basketball: Men's "C" League

This 5 on 5 basketball league is designed especially for the adult basketball enthusiast. All skill levels are encouraged to participate. One league is planned. If not enough “C” League teams, league may be combined with Open League. 10 Week league for 15 years and older.

Basketball: Men's Drop-In

This drop in basketball program will continue throughout the fall and winter. Teams will be formed each week for scrimmage play. You can pay at the gym before you play.

Christmas Card Workshop

Make your own Christmas cards! Join this fun and easy class and learn stamping techniques and easy card making. This class will teach you how to put together 8 Christmas cards like these.

Five Powers of Enlightened Living

We will discuss, explore, and practice five qualities of the heart and mind that lead directly to loving-kindness and compassion: Faith, Energy, Mindfulness, Concentration, and Wisdom. Appropriate for beginning and practicing meditators. The instructor is a registered nurse with advanced training in mediation and holistic health.
