Thank you to the many volunteers that helped with site cleanup!
The citizens of Magalia and the Upper Ridge have been working with PRPD staff and Board to get a park in Magalia since 2006. At LONG last PRPD is pleased to announce that the District has received funding to build Lakeridge Park in Magalia. This $5,2275,277 grant will fund the development of a new recreation center, grass play field, outdoor sport court, adventure playground, two traditional playgrounds, a swing complex, hiking/walking/biking paths, botanical garden, amphitheater, interactive water fountain, restrooms, and parking areas. Thank you to all the hundreds of Upper Ridge residents that have given their time and voice to help earn this hard-won grant award and their new park!
This is a very large development project and it could take up to three years to complete the project.
More to come. Stay tuned and check back for updates as we make progress toward building your beautiful new park!
