Open Positions for Lifeguards at the Paradise and Concow Pools

We are looking to hire lifeguards this summer to work at the Paradise and Concow Pools.  All applicants must:

• Pass a lifeguard certification class (COMING SOON)
• Be at least 15 years old by the first day of class
• Be selected for employment by PRPD Staff 
• Pay range between $16.50 - $17.65 per hour
• Management positions available with experience!

Lifeguard Certification Class Registration: (COMING SOON) 

• Class is limited to 10 participants
• Class participation does not guarantee employment 

Lifeguard Re-Cert / REVIEW Class Registration: (COMING SOON) 

• For lifeguards that have already completed the Lifeguard Certification Class in the past and are due for a review. 

Note:  Lifeguard Training class may come with out of pocket expense. 

Lifeguard Training Available in the Area:

Lifeguard training classes will also be held through the Chico Area Recreation and Park District & Durham Recreation and Park District.
