How to enjoy the programs offered by the
Paradise Recreation and Park District
- Online Registration — Online registration and payment is available for many of our programs.
- District Office — Registration is available in our office at 6626 Skyway from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. — Monday - Friday.
- Mail In Registration — Forms are available on our website and in the office. If you need a registration form mailed to you, please call (530) 872.6393.
Fees are charged for most programs, to cover a portion of the instructors, program supplies, maintenance and/or utility costs. Program sign-ups will be taken on a first come, first paid basis.
REFUNDS: Refunds will be given only if cancelled by 5 p.m. the day following the first-class session. Classes of four meetings or less must be cancelled one business day prior to the first class. A 20% processing fee will be charged per program and will be deducted from refunds. This does not apply to classes cancelled by the District. ALL REFUNDS will be issued within 14 days of cancellation.
To Register for a class, you may download a registration form and mail it to our office OR try our Online Registration.
Currently payments can be made by check, cash, or ATM/Debit cards (with Visa/Master Card & Discover Logo), Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover, in our office at 6626 Skyway, Paradise, between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.
Paradise Recreation and Park District Facts:
Paradise Recreation and Park District (PRPD) is an independent special district serving over 50,000 individuals in the Sierra Nevada foothills of Northern California, approximately 90 miles north of Sacramento.
Incorporated in 1948, PRPD covers approximately 165 square miles that encompasses the Town of Paradise, Paradise Pines, Butte Creek Canyon, and the Concow area.
PRPD maintains 73 acres of developed park land and another 358 acres of natural open space. Park facilities include swimming pools, fishing pond, play fields, horse arena, archery range, ropes course, walking trails, picnic areas, tennis courts, playgrounds, open use areas, and a recreation center.
PRPD offers a wide range of recreation programming, including after school programming, summer camp, preschool activities, youth and adult sports, senior services, aquatics, teen programs, and numerous special events.
PRPD also works directly with the Paradise Symphony, Gold Nugget Museum, Do-It-Leisure, Paradise Bowhunters, Little League, Paradise Ridge Soccer Club, and the Paradise Unified School District in providing leisure services to our constituents.
